Interests

Some of the things I think about outside of class and projects: the tools I’m excited by, the industries I care about, and the stuff that keeps me grounded.

Current Interests

01

AI tools I actually use

Codex and Claude are part of how I build now. I keep up with model releases and agent workflows because the gap between an idea and a working version of it keeps shrinking. It’s made building feel more iterative. I can try something, throw it out, and try again before the original idea gets stale.

Healthcare, because I’ve been there

Healthcare isn’t abstract for me. Growing up with a chronic illness meant a lot of waiting rooms, a lot of paperwork, and a pretty clear picture of what being the patient actually feels like. Long-term, I want to use what I know how to build to make those experiences easier for other people to get through.

03

Money, and making it make sense

Money has been on my radar since high school. Coming from a low-income, first-generation household, budgeting and planning were skills before they were topics. That’s why I pay attention to fintech: the tools that help people see their options clearly and make decisions they don’t regret later.

04

Real estate as a long game

Real estate, especially house hacking, is something I want to grow into over time. It sits at a fun intersection of discipline, ownership, and long horizons, and I like learning how property fits into a bigger picture of financial independence.

Movies, music, and shows

Away from the screen, I’m into movies, records, and live shows. Marty Supreme has been my recent favorite at the theater. On rotation: Steve Lacy, The Symposium, The Strokes. Festivals like Coachella hit differently. The production, the crowd, the way a song lands when ten thousand people know the words.

Getting outside and staying active

I try to keep things in my life that pull me off the laptop. Hiking, the gym, and just being outside help me reset and come back sharper. It’s less about a strict routine and more about staying consistent enough to feel good while doing everything else.
